User-Interface Artist
Flagship Studios is currently seeking a skilled User-Interface Artist to join its San Francisco team.
Flagship Studios, creators of Hellgate: London and Mythos, is seeking an experienced, highly-motivated UI Artist to create great-looking front-ends and in-game user-interfaces. Primary responsibilities include creating UI screens and interface elements as well as working with the UI Programmers to install functional interface components into games.
This is a full-time on-site position in San Francisco.
Requirements:
- Ability to conceptualize and develop interface screens and elements.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Excellent graphic design and UI usability sense.
- Traditional art skills for UI elements such as icons.
- Ability to create realistic and stylized textures.
- 2+ years industry experience.
- Knowledge of Flash and ActionScript
- Familiarity with styles and layer effects in Adobe Photoshop
- Traditional character and environment illustration skills
- Experience with asset management tools, such as Perforce
- Experience with HTML or XML
- Experience with Excel
- Avid gamer, experience playing MMORPGs
